Bio
I am told that even as a baby, I was fascinated by people. On walks when my mother used to push me in the stroller, I would engage most of the people who passed by smiling and trying to speak. My fascination with people has remained with me all of my life and, as a coach, it is the engine that keeps my mind and heart open with clients.
It was fascination with people that also took me to Japan. I spent a semester at a Japanese University and, after graduation from Pitzer College, I returned to live and work in Osaka for two years. While employed in there as a teacher at Panasonic and Sumitomo, I continued to study Japanese and I remained a student of people and their behavior. I returned to the US to obtain a Master’s degree in counseling at Santa Clara University.
For over 10 years, I have worked in corporate America in sales and marketing. Once again, it has been my fascination with people (and ability to create strong relationships) that has placed me in the top-tier of sales representatives most years of employment.
I received my education in coaching from the prestigious Coaches Training Institute and received my CPCC credential from them and my ACC credential from the International Coach Federation. I coach individuals, lead workshops and do public speaking on topics that pertain to issues that come up during coaching sessions such as: relationships, work-life balance, likeability, sales performance, and finding the love of your life.
I am married to the woman of my dreams and we have a baby boy. My hobbies are traveling, music and cycling. I am also a pet lover who volunteers monthly at the Humane Society to run a pet loss group there.
